On the Job Day 7: Haunted The only chapter that is rated M is Day 4: The rest of them are and will be rated T. I really struggled with this chapter, so sorry if it's not on par with the rest of the chapters. Also it doesn't have a lot of Cosplay in it, forgive me.
I think the easiest way to see the societal pressures at work is to ask yourself how many men do sexy cosplay? How many men dress up as Sexy Zombie for Halloween? This is an interesting conversation to follow, and I sit with a number of hats. One is as a card-carrying feminist from way back, when something like this would have seen me outraged. And finally as a mother of both gendered children, who is helping them navigate their way through puberty. So I would argue a great deal of male reaction is biologically pre-programmed and not merely a cultural phenomena.

The cosplayer took to Twitter to make it known that she was forced to self-censor in the public venue. Now Cammy has pants!
Meanwhile, another matter began to occupy my serious attention. A few months ago, I had made the acquaintance of Lady Betty Bashe at the house of a mutual friend. She was a consolable widow of something under forty and was busy introducing her daughter into Society, and for some perverse reason, she took it into her head that I would make an excellent sonin- law and proceeded to hunt me persistently, her daughter aiding and abetting her vigorously till they became a real nuisance. I had taken a dislike to both mother and daughter from our first meeting, although they both were decidedly attractive. Lady Betty was a tall, robust, buxom woman of under forty, after the type of Ruben's fleshy females, but somewhat over-developed, and owed a good deal to her corseter.
